Murphy
Murphy was a shepherd lab mix and was a very special part of his family's life. He died suddenly of cancer, and is very missed by his family. This painting was created for them to always remember Murphy and his sweet spirit.
Deja
Deja was found at a flea market about 16 years ago and still lives with her family in Atlanta. She is a very sweet and loving pet and has brought much joy to her family. I painted Deja on an 8 x 10 canvas in oil. Below are the steps I created her in...

SCARLETT
I was so excited to paint Scarlett, as she was my first cat to do a portrait of! This painting was a commissioned portrait for a couple who considered Scarlett a very special part of their family. Now Scarlett can always be remembered. This painting was created in oil on an 8 x 10 canvas. Below is the process of how I created her...

GINNY
This is beautiful Ginny. Ginny passed away in October 2008, and her owner commissioned a painting as a memorial so that she would always remember her "sweetheart." Ginny was created in oil on an 8 x 10 canvas. Below is the process of how I created Ginny...

NIYA
Niya was a fun painting I did for a friend. She is one of the sweetest, most cutest dogs I have ever met, so I had no problem painting it for her! This painting was done from my friend's favorite photo of Niya as a puppy. It was taken in natural light and had great composition, great qualities to help make a great painting, but it was in black and white, so I kinda had to figure out the colors based on what she looks like now. It was a challenge, but I think she turned out good in the end. Niya was painted on a 8 x 10 canvas in oil. Here is the process of how I created her.
This is a little of the sketch and starting to lay out the color...
Here is the photo and finished canvas together...the grass was added...
